How old should my baby be?

Baby massage is from birth and the effects last forever. To get the most enjoyment from attending a class the best time is from 8 weeks to 6 months or pre-crawling age.

How long are the courses run for?

Group Courses are run over 4 weeks. For private  1 2 1 Baby Massage Sessions they are run over a 3 week period with each session lasting for 60 minutes.

What if my Baby Cries or needs a feed or a nappy change during the class?

Our sessions are baby led which means there are no pressures to keep your little one quite or ignore his/her needs.  There is plenty of time for practice during the course and we also have spare dolls, so if your little one falls asleep you can still practice the massage strokes.

How is the course structured?

Each week you will learn a new area of the body for massage, the benefits of baby massage as well as reviewing the strokes from the week before. Hand-outs are given each week.

What equipment do you supply and what do I need to bring?

We supply fresh towels, baby mat , oils, music, spare dolls, hand-outs and refreshments, cushions and  information for you to take away each week.

You will need to wear comfy clothes, a spare change of clothes, a feed or food for your baby and a spare blanket.

What else’s will I learn from the course?

You will learn to understand your baby’s cues for massage, learn how to use song and rhyme and how to adapt the massage for your growing baby.  As well as meeting other mums and babies and having fun!!!
